Halloween Fun
Halloween was a very busy day for us. We got up bright and early because of course Chloe had school. She was able to wear her costume to school surprisingly. I think mostly because it was only a half-day. After that I did some grocery shopping. I at least wanted to get something done while waiting for her to get out.
After picking up Chloe I headed to the gym while my sister watched the girls at home. I really needed to relieve some stress and pent-up frustration. It’s just been one of those weeks where things are off for me. I’m so glad I decided to give my workout all I had.
An intense workout always makes me in a better mood. I don’t understand it sometimes, but I love the feeling it gives me.
I went to my usual yoga class then ran on the treadmill for 20 minutes. I ended my workout with some weight training. That’s where I left all my frustrations. I just had to snap a picture of myself because I hadn’t felt this great and confident, probably ever! I look at that picture and think, whoa where did all that definition come from. I need to take more pictures of myself to show how I am progressing. I’m a big believer in photos telling us more than a scale ever can. So don’t forget to take regular pictures of yourself!
I tried out one of the protein powder samples I received in October’s Klutch club box. I mixed it with almond milk and ice. I think next time I’ll make it into a smoothie because it tasted a little too chalky for me with an odd aftertaste.
I’m still in shock that we are in November now. But to make this month a little more fun and hopefully as stress free as possible, I am going to be taking part in Grow Soul Beautiful’s yoga a day challenge on Instagram. My name is fairyhealthylife if you would to follow along or join me!
Trick or Treating time came way too soon! Amani dressed up as a witch or as she like to say, Morticia Addams. She was continuously reciting lines from The Addams Family all day long. I was pretty impressed since she’s only seen the movie twice. Chloe decided to be the grim reaper. Apparently she’s too old to be anything close to being cute. But that’s what Halloween is about right? Imagination and trying to scare anyone you can.
All in all, we had a fun, busy day. How was your Halloween? Did you or your children dress up?
