Lego Land and Griffith Observatory
We spent a great chunk of time at Lego Land and Griffith Observatory. The latter was one of the few things Rudy wanted to do. He loves science, planets and how it all works.
Foucault pendulum designed to demonstrate the rotation of the Earth. Everything inside the observatory is stunning.
Chloe fell so in love with Lego Land. In fact, she still can’t stop talking about it to anyone she can. I seriously had no idea she loved Star Wars so much.
Lego Land is actually 3 parks in 1. They have Lego Land, the water park and an aquarium. We opted for Lego Land and the water park. Everyone knows I don’t take them to fast food restaurants very often. But one day before our vacation I bought them kids meals from burger king and they came with crowns. It said if you take the crowns to Lego Land, with each paying adult kids get in free. This was such a huge deal. We were able to save 158.00!! That’s a lot. If not for this deal, it would have been more expensive than Disney Land. As far as I know, the offer is still good.
You might not be able to tell right away, but all of these famous cities and monument replicas are made of LEGOS! I couldn’t believe it myself. It was astounding.
I was so shocked when I saw Amani standing next to this “woman” in the parking lot as we were leaving. They are so lifelike!
