WIAW: October 10, 2012
These past few weeks have been flying by so fast! I haven’t had a chance to come up with some ghoulish snacks for What I Ate Wednesday. That’s okay I still have a few more weeks to go. What sort of (healthy) Halloween foods do you like during this time of year?
I had some leftover pumpkin from my protein muffin recipe so I added it into my “oatmeal” minus the oats. Depending on how much pumpkin you use, it can taste just like pumpkin pie! I used a little bit more than 2 tablespoons. Mixed with pumpkin spice and cinnamon, it’s delicious!
Bob Harper kicked my butt yesterday! It’s one of the same workout DVD’s I’ve been doing but I really pushed myself with the plyo squats. I even added extra weights this time. I know I really pushed myself because when I finished showering, my arms were still on fire.
A salad made of my leftover fish tacos from this past weekend. I just added spinach, lettuce, tomatoes, and alfalfa sprouts.
Whole food bar from September’s Klutch Club box. The peanut butter wasn’t overwhelming and the chocolate was just right. I’m hoping I can find these near me.
My favorite; quinoa pasta with zucchini, eggplant, mushrooms, tomatoes, laughing cow swiss cheese wedge and a little feta cheese.
